InternalrRecording BUG - 6.09

Post by wavecycle » Sun Jan 06, 2008 4:11 pm

My setup seemed to be working fine, but I noticed a problem yesterday:

I was doing an internal recording, ie recording the audio output of a MIDI track (running a softsynth), into an audio track. When I played back the audio recording, it was altered, slightly warbled. The level seemed much the same, but the overall quality of the track had noticeably deteriorated, and somehow it warbled. I can listen to the MIDI track, whilst saving it into the audio track, and then as soon as I listen to the audio recording, it has deteriorated.

I have tried using a different sound device, using a different softsynth, lowering the levels to avoid any potential clipping, not sure what else to do. The crazy thing is that the audio is not even leaving the system.

I am currently using the ASIO driver.

Thanks
Justin
