Can't copy and paste automation envelopes in 7

Posted this in 'tips and tricks' earlier but it looks like it should really be in here. I'm having a problem dealing with my tracks in version 7. In 6.0.7 I was able to use Ctrl-Alt-C and Ctrl-Alt-V to copy and paste the automation of my individual tracks into a larger mix. Now when I try that in 7.0.1 it won't work, and I really need to be able to. Is there a new key combo that I've missed?

ctrl+alt+c is correct

then use simply ctrl+v
