LIVE CRASHES WITH OTHER APLICATIONS !!

Hi everyone from Spain (and excuse my english ),

I love Live's cool interface and capabilities, but im a newie and i found some problems using it:

1) When i press the 'Edit' button in Live's 3.0.4 'Sample ' window, the audio editor shows me a window error that tells 'Cant play the file, is corrupt or damaged'. I tried with many audio editors in 'preferences' (Cool Edit 2.0 Pro, Sound Forge 7, Nero wave editor, etc.), but in all cases i meet the same problem.

2) I cant open IK Multimedia's Amplitube in Live 3.0.4 after instllaing it in Live's plugins folder. When i select the 'Plug-ins' windows, Live crashes (!)

¿Please, what i am doing bad?

My system:

-Pentium IV 1.3 GHz
-768 MB RAM
-Windows XP Pro with SP1a
-Terratec DMX6Fire 24/96 sound card

Hay man thats rigth te same problems that i have when i try to open Amplitublein Live to record my guitr !!!

I can only use Reason via Rewire to play my synth, but if wanna edit a clip, i just cant doit !! Soundforge says "catn play this sample 'cause an incompatibility raised" or so....

same here with Wavelab. Ableton wasn't able to solve this yet...
