sending midi problem & VST

I have just got my sh201 working in live, but now on my midi channels when i fire up a vst i can only route then to send, master & audio but no other midi channel? When i delete the vst in the midi channel so its empty you are able to send to the over channels again but as soon as u fire vst, u cant send???

It was working fine now its not.

Any suggestions?

Hello,

If you want to send MIDI data to a VSTi/Au instruments other than channel 1, simply
create a new MIDI track and choose the VSTi in the output type chooser of the new track.
Set the output channel then in the chooser below the the output type.

hi christin, thats the point when the midi channel is empty i can hit the drop down in the channel in the audio to box & send it anywhere, as soon as i fire up a vst, i lose the ability to do so. The only options for routing available is via the sends, outputs, config & master.

No other midi channels are available????

I take the vst of the channel & midi is available, i load the vst & no midi send to other midi channels available???
