Using firepod to dj??
Need some help setting up a basic DJ set up on ableton 6 with a firepod. looking to monitor a track befoe using the cross fader to bring the next song in. any help would be apriciated. thank you!

Hi,
You'll need to get a headphone amp, like the Presonus HP4. Run balanced cables out of outputs 3 and 4 on the pod to the HP4. Activate CueMix button on the bottom right of your ableton screen. Set CueMix to be channels 3,4 and the main outs to 1,2. Then you can hear a cue-track before it's played over the mains. For more details, check out the manual... they explain algorhythms for going through this.
