multiple track midi mapping is being ignored

I am finishing up the music for a song, but the key isn't in my vocal range, so I have to transpose it. Seeing as there isn't a 'master transpose' option (which would be great, btw, especially if you could put it on the master channel and it would transpose all midi + warped tracks), I put a pitch effect on every midi channel and mapped them all to the same midi knob. I, in every audio track that is warped, I mapped all of the 'transpose' knobs in the Sample section of the clip view to the same midi knob that is controlling the pitch effect's (on the midi tracks) transposition. Sounds like that shouldn't be a problem, right? Wrooooooong. When I turn the knob to change the pitch, the midi tracks are effected but the warped clips aren't. I've tried deleting the mapping and remapping it again, but it just doesn't work. For some reason, the transpose knob in warped clips won't change.
