BCR2000 receiving unsolicited Control Changes in Mackie Mode

Post by UnderwaterSunlight » Sun Jan 20, 2008 9:19 am

When I use my BCR2000 in Mackie Mode of Ableton 6.0.10 or 6.0.9 and I press "record" or "play", the BCR2000 receives unwanted / "unsolicited" data on the CC 65-73. Is this normal Mackie behavior or might it be a bug in Ableton Live's Mackie Control mode ?

Please would you replicate this bug:
Set one (or more) of your BCR2000 encoders to CC65...73. Use any Live set you have (even "New Set" can be used to demonstrate this). Press "Play".
Now the Encoder LED should move on its own although you didn't automate any parameters.

Strange, isn't it ?
Apple Mac Mini M4Pro, 24 GB RAM, 1TB internal SSD, MacOS 26 Tahoe (up-to-date), Ableton 12 Suite (up-to-date), NI Komplete 14, Steinberg UR22 mkII
