Copenhageniacs! - Kulcafeen on Saturday!

Post by Machinate » Mon Jan 21, 2008 9:07 am

Hey all,

I know this is a bit of a faux pas cross-posting in the general forum, but we have to hook up! There are so many Danes (and Skåninger) on this forum by now, that *this* is the time to meet up!

My electronics band, Skarp and the most excellent Esben Schack are playing at Kulcafeen in Copenhagen on Saturday at around 22 -

Show up, we'll geek out and have some beer.

Schack does live looping with a singer/songwriter twist:

Mikel, my bandmate, plays a V-drum kit and I do... odd stuff with machines:

Cheers,
Andreas.

Thanks for invite! Good looking out!

I'd definitely be there if I weren't in Moscow...

Have fun!

Best

I'm way too concerned about global warming to feel in a position to support such a blatant consumption of electricity, generated by noxious coal as is our way in this petty kingdom.

Suit #1: I mean, have you got any insight as to why a bright boy like this would jeopardize the lives of millions?
Suit #2: No, sir, he says he does this sort of thing for fun.

Kulkaféen is a five minute walk from Nørreport Station. Is in Teglgårdsstræde, which is a small street facing the park, Ørstedsparken, which you can see from Nørreport Station. You should just follow the park fence for five minutes and then Teglgårdsstræde will come up on your left hand.

Teglgårdsstræde is a small street and if you're coming down Teglgårdsstræde from the street Nørreport is on, Kulkaféen will be on your right hand. It's in a basement and it's got a sign on it!

You can probably take a train from Malmö straight to Nørreport.
