Live 6 library and updating to Live 7 library. ? confused

hey guys,

when upgrading to live 7 it says that it needs to update my live 6 library and that old sesion may not be able to play.
can anyone help me out with understanding this.. ?

what does this mean ? that old session cant play on live 7 or that my old live 6 lib will be changed so that even old live 6 session will not play with live 6 ?

very confused and dont want to dig a hole for myself here. i need to upgrade to live 7 and still be able to open my complex live 6 sessions.

any help is greatly appreciated.

as written - L7 is not back compatbile (or whatever its spelled) with older versions due to the many changes in devices, imroved sound engine and other blah.
I would suggest You not to upgrade L6's lib but install L7 from scratch with whole new lib (backup the old one just in case) for more infos use the secret technique of the search the forum button.
