I just got Logic Pro, and I'd like to bring a bunch of projects from Live into it.
Is there any way to export while preserving the midi settings and notes? (i.e. not rendering to an .aiff or .wav file?) I'd basically like to be able to work on these tracks as if I created them in Logic originally.
If this involves Rewire, could someone talk me through how to bring in actual tracks (as opposed to instruments and sounds.) I'm very new to this stuff.

If you want to keep Live's Instruments and MIDI sequences, while mixing in Logic, you will need to use ReWire.
The idea is you assign Live's MIDI tracks' audio outputs into Logic's channel inputs. So you are streaming multiple channels of audio generated in Live into multiple Logic mixer channels.
Here is a tutorial on how to ReWire Live into Logic. Note that it is very important to Boot Logic first, then Live, in order to invoke ReWire. If booted in the opposite order, they won't talk to each other.
