Hi,

I'm using Live7.

If you have a hardware compressor or eq wired into live via your interface (for example a hardware compressor placed over the master channel) how does rendering/exporting audio work?

When you go to export audio, does it play the whole track through in realtime.

I know how to wire up the gear with the external effect plugin, just wondering how it handles exporting.

Live is doing realtime rendering when an external effect or instrument is inserted in the project.

Hmm - then maybe a usful tip for Virus TI users is allways have an unused external intrument or effects on you project somewhere...

I allways just create an extra audio track and set its input to resample.
