UC33 users please help.....

Hi

I set up a channel on the UC33 to control Live and stored it to memory - but when i went out of live and back in to a 'new' live set the controls did not work!

If I save the live set after setting up the UC33 and recall the same Live set everything is fine - is this what you have to do? surely you can just set them up once to work with any Live set you want?

BTW that's how it works with Reason devices!

Am I missing something

When you set up your preset for live , go to preferences. save this set as your default.

by the way.....
you can upgrade your uc33 to a uc33e now for 25$ or something.
guess i wont have to sell mine

I'm glad to see that folks will be able to upgrade to the 33e, as it's really nice to use the Enigma software with the "e" model, which I understand doesn't work well, or at all with the plain 33.
Well worth the price IMHO, as I love my 33e with Live & Reason! Those new overlays they sell are great too for Reason.
I know people say that with the new Live 4 upgrade, they won't need Reason anymore, but I rather love it, and don't feel that I will or need to replace it with anything. They work so well together, and the 33e just makes it even better still.
BTW, make sure to download the Live templetes from Evo's web site, as they make a great starting point for Live settings with the 33e! I have a number of them, which I just save and use with different set-ups.

you can get them to do it to keep the warranty for £50, but I'd rather just do it myself.
