Best Male vocalist

Post by Tone Deft » Thu Feb 28, 2008 7:23 am

I found this list, seems pretty good, some R&B/Soul singers in it. I might pair it down to post 1968 or later, dunno, but I'd be curious what the goons think.

I f-ing hate Joplin. she's the screechy vamping equivalent of Yngwie. Janis walks all over the entire less is more idea. in this one she does completely blow away Tom Jones, a very good vocalist. awful tonality too, like a 90 year old smoker.

Scott Joplin is a god.

what are you scared of condra?!

i can see at least 123 better vocalists than phil asswello. if you post a guitar list, dimebag had better be in the top 5... assmello shoulda been shot, not dimebag

i love pantera, that dude is a d0uche, tho. maybe i saw them too late in their career, but i was not impressed with him live. now dimebag and his brother vinnie rocked the joint hard... made up for asswello's whining, lazy ass.

another heroin victim. that shit strips people of too much, and the world of too much good music, as a result...
