importing vocls from protools to Live7

Post by sugarbeet » Thu Mar 06, 2008 9:45 pm

Hi
I´m a new user of Live and are fumbling my way.....
I have some quistions about importing vocals from other program, in my case pro tools. I tryed to bounce some vocals in protools to use in a Live session, but can´t find the best way to do it.
my expirences and results are mixed, cause some seems to work fine but some are not sounding good at all. I think it something about the timestretching.
can any one help me out finding the best way, or just tell me a little about how to do this, guess there´s many ways.
cheers

if you don't need to timestretch, then don't. Turn the WARP button off down in the lower clip window.

great place to start, as to what all that timestretching is useful for, is the manual.

I'd just bounce .wav or .aif from Pro Tools and open them up in Live.
