no sound with motu 828 mk2 & live 7.0

just recently switched from my fire wire 410...to motu 828 mk2..and for some reason i can see the levels going but there is no audio coming out all my audio prefs seem to be right any help with this?

might be A stupid question but did you set it up on your prefrence were it says audio IN & OUT? and set it to core audio?

I HAVE THE SAME AUDIO INTERFACE AND ITS WORKING GREAT I JUST NEED TO ORDER THE MANNUAL CAUSE I JUST BOUGHT IT FROM SOMEONE THIS WEEK.

1. post pref's pic, you say they are right, but how are we to know?
2. can you get volume out the headphone jack... AFTER making sure the volume knob is actually turned up?
3. "You see the levels going"??? As in From Live, or INSIDE the 828 (it has meters on the face of the unit, right? Do these light up?)
