why loose vertical screenspace when insert 5th track

Here's an odd behavior. Open a new set. You start with 2 tracks. Add two more. Notice that the gray space between track titles and the overview stays the same.

Now add one more track making it 5 tracks total.

Result:
A large margin of gray space appears between the track titles and the overview.

Expected:
No change

Note:
I can't find a use for this new unclaimed space. And vertical space is a premium on laptops.

You'll notice that happens for every set of 4 tracks you add. It is kind of weird, but I guess it makes sense in a way.

Personally I want to know why the overview in Session View never shows you your entire arrangement, but scrolls a smaller section of it.
