sample files missing

So I bought live 6 in the time frame that Ableton allowed us to upgrade to 7 for free.

Today I went to work on a new song and all of my most basic samples are missing. They don't work in either 7.0.1 or 6.0.10.

Examples of sample files that are missing:

Jazz organ, jazz organ draft
Rock organ, rock organ draft
Everything in the Guitars & Plucked category.
Grand Piano, grand piano ultra lite, grand piano lite, grand piano draft
Several items in the Strings category.

Sometimes when I click on other samples, ex. hughophone - it will give me the red line at the botton (samples are missing) and load up Harpsichord instead randomly.

I'm sure it's something simple that I am just completely spacing on. Any advice or help would be greatly appreciated thank you.

I know this is nearly ridiculous advice, but did you by any chance happen to try reinstalling Live 7? If these are stock samples from the stock locations, that might resolve it.

I experienced something similar after removing Live 6 from my system, after installing Live 7. But a simple reinstallation cured it.
