Live 6.07 on intel MacBook Pro serious bugs, any HELP??????

I have Tiger on Intel.

It worked for a year like a dream and now suddenly theres odd things:
- It doesn not respond to space bar (does not stop).
- It does not record
- level meter lights stay up until closing computer
I Use reaktor 5.15. 5.12 was stable with Live 6.07 -not with 6.10.

Tried re-installing with no success. Format hard disk and start from 0 is next step.
Or go for Garageband.

Hi,

please reset Live by deleting the preferences.cfg file. Before doing that, please write down the "Library Path" set in Live´s file/folder preferences, you´ll need to set it again manually later.
Close Live.
Delete the files preferences.cfg and (if available) undo.cfg
You can find it them:

user/library/preferences/ableton/live 6.0.7

In case you have older Live 6.0.X subfolders in that directory, please delete the files in there as well.

Start Live, when you are asked for an empty Library folder, point the dialog window to your old Library path instead.

Include your log.txt file (from the preferences folder above) and, in case you are experiencing crashes, too, your crash-log from this directory:
user/library/logs/crashreporter/live.crash.log
