Bouncing Single Midi Files

Hey Guys,

Just wondering if there is a simple way to bounce a SINGLE MIDI clip from the session view to make it a wav.

Any ideas?
The only way I've been able to get this done is to move the clip to the arrangement view, then adjust the markers, then mixdown....so its a bit of a hassle.

The only way I know is to record it from session view to arrangement view then bounce it down.

anyone else know of any way that might be easier to do?
because bouncing down 30+ clips is lengthyyyy

You are bouncing individual clips? I record out to arrangement view (as I assume all others do) either audio or midi. Sometimes I'll record them in session as audio clips then record the arrangement but that's still a bit of work.

And no problem, I have yet to really REALLY dig down deep into this program still! I bug my buddy about things

Thanks Darkenedsoul again!

The only thing is, this become very time consuming when I have to take lets say

4-5 Drum Clips,
4-5 Bass Clips,
Lead Clips, Ambience clips, and mix them all down seperately.
if there was a way to just right click on the clip in the session view and mixdown that one midi clip, that would be amazing!

Any more ideas out there?

Hi,

Easy-schmeazy:

1. Make a copy of the channel with your clip (click channelname, alt-drag to the right)
2. Delete all clips but the one that you need as audiofile
3. Freeze the channel (right-click on the channel name - freeze)
4. Flatten the channel (right-click on the channel name - flatten)

your former midi clip is an audioclip now.
