Replacing Instrument deletes all devices

Has anyone else had this problem w/ Live 7...

Add an instrument to a midi track, then add another device or two..

With the same track selected, select another device from the browser and hit return.

It not only swaps out the instrument but also deletes all other devices. This does not happen if you drag the new device to the track.

Pretty sure this is intentional, but you're not the only one who doesn't like it
