if you're editing or splitting an unwarped audio file in arrangement view, how do you know if that edit is at a zero crossover point as there is nothing in the view that shows the zero line.
there is a zero line in clip view but i'm unsure on how i would put my playback cursor on a zero crossover point and split the file at that exact point. i'm sure i'm missing something really obvious here?
Editing at the Zero Crossover Point in Live?
yes i could use a start marker but imagine if i've got one large wav file. i want to seperate it into 2 seperate wav files. the point where it's separated needs to be at a zero crossover point somewhere in the middle of the file. after they are separated i then want to consolidate them as 2 separate wav files.
if i use the start marker to find the zero crossover location i want half way along the sample i can then consolidate that as a new wav but what about the part of the wav that is at a point before the start marker...it is not in view and can not be consolidated.
thing is i've always done this in pro tools and decided today to do it in live instead but it just seems really tricky...or i'm missing something obvious?
