I've been working on a 25 sec commercial over the weekend and have used version 7 with video rendering for the first time. My problem is that after I've recorded my music, using a mix of midi and audio (and with the video synced up just fine) I try and record a 2 track audio master back into ableton of the whole track. At the end of this recording, the video disappears! This only happens if I reach the end of the video and carry on past it with the audio recording. If I stop half way through the video stays where it is. My workaround has been to master the track to a stereo audio file and then import the video back in, resyncing to the audio. Am I erazing by mistake? The video track isn't armed.
Is this a bug? am I doing something silly?
