i dont know too much of music biz even though i've making for a few years.
so i'd like to get some info., where i am from, there isn't much going on. here is a bit basic question.
i see people uploading their demos and tracks everywhere, some having two music players in myspace, uploading as many demos as they could.
but then i also hear (from some producers) that i should just give the demos to the right people, all that (in person). sort of keep the good ones.
at this point, yeah, i want to promote my music, send everywhere, upload, make contacts. but then, they won't be released, is it? since people already heard everything thru myspace etc.
so how does this work? do you promote in any means?
i am just a bit lost. i do want to hear what you guys are doing in terms of promoting.
