hi all
great forum...great software
one thing!! I am using ableton live as a live bass and piano sampler and I need to filter out program change data coming from my master keyboard.....danged if I can figure out how to do it.....im sure its simple but it has me stumped....and yes ive searched the manual
cheers any ideas????
PS I have all the MIDI assignments set up and have midi notes and CC data running fine into VST's in live it's just that I want to stop control change data getting thru that MIDI channel and into my VST instrument

try turning off REMOTE IN in options->preferences->midi for the midi port where your device is connected.
In my life
Why do I smile
At people who I'd much rather kick in the eye?

usually keyboards have a preference to not send program changes. Id say turn off filter changes from your keyboard...
