bug when midi synched

hi!

this bug is not really critical, but it's .. uh .. nervig (what's that in english?). description: live runs midi synched to my rs7k. when i drag an effect onto one of tracks, the gui does not respond for some time, this depends on the number of clips/effects i'm running and the effect i'm using, but at least half a second and it goes up to four, five seconds or even longer. there is no activity in the gui, the controls are not updating and live does neither respond to key commands nor mouse actions (i didn't try midi). also when i switch to another app and return to live shortly after i have added an effect, i have to wait a few seconds until the live window reappears. the soundengine does continue to play and i can't hear any artifacts. this does not happen when i drag a clip into the window, and it also doesn't happen when live is not synched to midi. my machine is a pentium iv with 1.7ghz, windows 98se, the cpu usage does not exceed 25% when i play around with it and i use the built-in midi port of my asus p4b motherboard with the roland mpu-400 driver which was delivered with windows, connected to a yamaha rs7000, the sync method is midi clock.
