Multimic Session Drums packs installation error?

Post by ironwill2000 » Sat Apr 19, 2008 12:18 pm

Pretty pissed. Just formatted a new hard drive because the one in my brand new Dell laptop was shit so I had to burn my second authorization in 2 days on the same machine.

Anyway, I installed all the Stereo Session Drums live packs without a hitch, although it took nearly an hour. My problem kicked in when I went to drag in the Multimic Live sets from DVD 2 of Session Drums. I got a bunch of errors from each of the packages and when I go to try to access the Multimic kits, Live tells me the Samples are missing. When I try to drag in the Multimic Live Packs again, Live tells me they are already installed...

What gives? Even the autosearch won't find the Samples.

Any help would be appreciated.

Did you ever find a solution to this. I am having the same exact problem. Any solutions? I just reinstalled. The problem continues. All my multimic packs are said to be installed, but the samples are not there.

My problem was my anti-virus. I had to 1.) Disable Realtime Protection 2.) Uninstall the Livepacks with the Drums 3.) Drag the packages back into live so they would reinstall. That did it for me.

Best of luck!

I don't know what my problem was. I had installed them once at a time and kept seeing a message about a silent.aif that I should keep or rewrite. I found the silent.aif file and got rid of it. Then I uninstalled and then reinstalled all. Looks to be working now!
