Ableton seven in the open.

Ok. I have this idea for upcoming ableton versions. Imagine this. Full internet connection. Kind of like a community through music. You could look for samples online through the browser, send messages too your psychedelic friend in Italy while you were communicating willingly and making music and putting beats together. Or you could be making minimalistic techno with your buddy in Tokyo. Or even 2 beautiful individuals making film soundtrack in two different atmospheres
You could maybe even stream live sets between each other and they would appear in right tempo with automation and settings...

tech isn't there yet.

- Best so far is Ninjam. Check that out, run Ninjam and Skype video over a good line, and you've got something proper, man.
