rcently bought a griffin imic for recording vocals with my suresm 58. but on myu recording i have a humming sound which i cannot get rid of!
it ruins what i record as soon as i turn the volume up ALL you hear is the humming sound.

What setup you using? Laptops frequently have a problem of ground loops, also avoid cheap plug extensions (you no the things you plug into one socket and it converts them into four etc). Try buying a GROUND LOOP ISOLATOR and running your signal through that before your soundcard or whatever.
