cpu dropouts during export with 7.0.7 - not with 7.0.5

I have projects that contain roughly 30+ tracks, midi and audio, builtin and third party plugins, use of external effect hardware, frozen and unfrozen tracks. With Live 7.0.5, I can use all export options (all tracks, etc.). With Live 7.0.7, during export, the cpu dropout counter continually increases (100s within seconds). This is with a MBP, OS X 10.4.11, airport turned off. I've downgraded to Live 7.0.5 as I need to export. Any advice on how to make export work in 7.0.7?

Note totally sure if my problem is related or not, but I'm also getting crackles and pops in my exported audio file for a large project (40+ tracks) in 7.0.7. Oddly, I don't get the crackles when playing the project back "live." I've never had this problem before with any version of Live.

Wireless is turned off when rendering, FYI.
