we do better, but generally people that do better don't really want to join the competition, unless they're n'importe qua French.

i agree m8....If you enter this you can pretty much say your career is over..
then again if you enter this you didn't really have a career in the 1st place..

Just caught the summary of all the songs on German TV. Fair play, most of them are godawful shite. Some of the singing is so off-key, I'm wondering whether someone sabotaged the monitors on some of the entries.

I'll be crossing my fingers for France, Finland, Iceland, Latvia and Turkey. Unfortunately, I think Portugal will win - didn't really hear the song, but the presentation is a Eurovision-winning one!

And Spain, of course!!
