problem with controllers and REC buttons,please help

Hi!

Its the same with all of my controllers,BCR,FCB1010 and nano:
I want to use a button to turn the Channel RECORD on,but it reacts every second time only.

I use CC normally, tried midi notes,but for record button nothing seem to work?

edit:it seems to me that the button needs an ON+OFF impulse to switch,and if i use a contr. with ON ( i want the LED status) REC is switched on every OFF controller!?

Edit2: i changed the config of the buttons now,it sends now with one klick an on/off message.But now i don`t have the Status LED....

any ideas?

to have true LED feedback to your controller would be a very complicated thing.

I recommend letting it go

well I hope I am wrong about it

if you use mackie emulations then I suppose that's easy - I should have mentioned that.

but for manual assignments I don't think it's easy. if you coordinate the LED action of the button with the parameter, maybe it will stay in sync in and of itself.. but what if other factors kill the rec button? I don't think it's true 2-way feedback

All ableton knobs/buttons give a feedback to BCR,the only button witch doesn`t work is the !"§$§%$§& REC BUTTON ! ! ! !

is there a way?that sucks.

i have a NANO controll on my MIC stand for livevocals,etc...

It`s so hard to show the REC ARM STATUS on BCR?

Midi NOTES ,CC,it`s the same with all...

so, if you use the mouse to toggle other things in Live, are you saying your BCR lights will go on and off? (not touching the bcr, only using the mouse)

same question for moving "knobs" in the Ableton screen, with the mouse? The LED rings on the BCR will display the movements you make with the mouse?

how are you using the bcr? is it enabled as BCR2000 in the upper section, or Mackie Control, or just as 'remote' in the lower section?

yes,this works....
i push a button with the mouse,on the bcr the button is turned on!
The LEDs react on changing parameters with the mouse..nice...

with the Rec button too,but this is not my problem

i like the bcr,good controller for 129€...
