My setup is a simple one when playing live there is a backing track running (not in arangment mode) and warped to the backing track on another track there is the click that i send out to the drummer.
Yesterday we've done an experiment to check whether the timing of the click syncs out. And found that when beatrepeater and a sample player like kontakt are used the click and the backing track, differed amazingly from the orignal tempo altough its very subtle the timing of the tracks goes out of the master tempo and when beatrepeater is bypassed then the tempo aligns back in sync with the master tempo.
Its very hard to explain I hope I've been clear enough.
