constant Midi ?

is it possible just with an easy midikey if i have on a audiotrack as example a reverb effect,that if i push a midikey the control activates the reverb only during pushing the key ? if i dont push the key the effect must be switched of automaticly.

for just playing with loops it is the launch art ''gate'' but with effects to midilearn it is ?

You need a momentary type midi switch. some controllers have these. or i think you can also do it with a midi note, if you can edit the note's off velocity to be 127.
