Morphing between Drumrack Sounds

Post by Digital Affinity » Tue Jun 17, 2008 8:13 pm

hi! i use the drumracks function not only for remixing beats but also for my synthsounds which go in a spheric ambient direction .. i found out how to make a neverending collage of my sounds but it would be very very cool if there were a morphing function between the sounds or channels..
thanx and greez from austria!

yeah, this is something i talked about in another thread!

i wanted to make a custom drum rack that actually has more than one drum rack in it, with other functions mapped to the macros, using one macro to switch between different racks, thinking that when it sliced it would slice into all the others drum racks in that drum rack as opposed to just one. sadly it didnt work and i still can find a way to do it.

dont know if this is similar to your idea but i think i could find alot of use it what you are suggesting.

;try an instrument rack. you can x-fade chains

or, someone made a preset morphing thing using LiveAPI. don't know about that one.

i'll try that, tho i fear it wont give me joy with my slicing problem, it'll still be useful for other stuff.

hmm

slice to one drum rack

group that to an instrument rack

set up macros

duplicate the drum rack chain

map the chain selector and put it on the outer macro

??? I'm not 100% clear on what you're trying to end up with
