Quick-load-set -feature and MIDI-switch to next Live-set

I wish there was a way to quickly change to next set (=next song) while gigging, including both faster loading time and more convenient way to switch to next set. While on laptop, it takes way too long to switch songs during live gigging.

I don't know how Logic's MainStage does it or how Plasq's Rax2 did it, but they made it possible to quick-switch to next song quite quickly. Maybe some background-loading when idle cpu?

Also, please make it somehow more convenient to perform a whole set with Live without needing to go to laptop and load the next set all the time. Maybe a playlist of sets would be handy, so you could easily switch to next set with a midi command? Would make things faster, but the loading time is an issue too, I think.

I recently mailed ableton about this feature, but the reply was that its very hard to implement and thats its more or less way down on the list...

Hard to implement... well, a setlist, I'm sure, isn't. I can imagine preloading could make some extra work happen, though...
