Making an audio track ping-pong loop

Post by esperdiv » Sat Jun 21, 2008 2:22 am

I am very new to Live (bought it last week) so please bear with me.

Is it possible to have an audio track do a ping-pong loop in Live? (when end is reached, go back to beginning in reverse)?

If not, does Live have a tool to find good loop points for an audio track (where crossover won't produce an audible click)?

Thanks.

ESPER out.

duplicate clip, and use the 'reverse' option in clip properties

at this point you can put the clip in front of the forwar playing clip on the arrangement and then consolidate the two, or you can use 'follow actions' in session view to get the forward clip to play the reversed one when it finishes playing and vice versa.

there is a "FADE" button on the clip properties that does a mini fade in/out on clips to stop popping.
