Drag & Drop ?

Isnt it possible to drag a clip from live (7.07) to win-desktop or cubase?
Here on my machine its not possible.
Did i miss something? :?:

you can do the opposite: drag from windows folders into Live

But i must say, thats nearly a no go.
I cant believe, that this basic function is not possible :?
