Im going to Japan in mid-July until beginning August. Will be in Nagoya and Tokyo.
Does anyone have tips on great concerts, clubs, exhibitions for my trip.
I like:
experimental electronic music (raster noton, pan sonic, for example),
noise (merzbow, KK Null, Keijo Haino etc),
dron(y) rock (acid mothers temple, boredoms, hanatarash etc)
free form jazz (ayler, Kaoru Abe, Takayanagi, Brötzmann)
sound art (Ryoji Ikeda etc).
I hope you get the picture.
Tips on websites with info on the music scene in japan (tokyo, nagoya) and calendarium, adresses etc would also be great.
thanks
klacke

Womb (Shibuya, Tokyo) is one of the best clubs in the world and worth going to no matter who is playing. Summersonic and Fuji Rock festivals are on sometime.
There is also a ticket that foreigners can buy that let them use as many shinkansen bullet trains as they like. You need to get this outside of Japan before you go.
Buy lots of A Bathing Ape stuff as it's a lot cheaper than outside of Japan. Get a map though as most of the shops are hidden (i.e. in cellars, tiny shop sign).
