A depressing feeling

I was watching the news like I aways do ..it so fucking depressing it makes me want to cry. All the people and global warming and death and flooding. It really hits a emotional response to me. The problem is that its so predictable that it will get worse.

This is a vary fast rough sketch of my feeling. ...as I'm still struggling to wright music, If only more artist would reveal the truth of the world and how fucked up it is, in there own music.!

not to diminish todays problems, but can you imagine how it felt in the 1960s? Cuban missile crisis? cold war - genuine fear of nuclear war? vietnam war? kids actually being drafted up and made to go and fight in an unwinnable pointless war before they even had a chance at life. Innocent Vietnamese people dying just while working the fields. Napalmed children.

of course, there is plenty to feel depressed about now, but that would have been far worse than the world we live in IMO. Imagine your 18 year old little brother getting his name drawn and being forced to go off to vietnam.

or WW1 - underage kids being forced to run into machine guns, with no chance of survival.

in many ways things have improved.

Good point! I guess tampons for bullet wounds are just a common thing now days, not to despite your thoughts. as artists I think we should take on a small responsibility for some of the things we don't like going on in the world. It does feel like this is the case though, political protest don't happen as much about some issue we should protest about. Not saying That my little songy song does that at all, but the inspiration was there at the time.

If global warming continues which it will, things are going to get alot shittier. Trust me there ain't nothing growing much out here for fall ..lots of lost farm land!

Yean man I like the minimal aspect to it. I got it off that player thing (forgot I had quicktime pro in order to get off that player) I was messing with it last night for a little but while I was doing the bass line I went into techno house mood and had to role with that and ended up on a whole new track. ;D I'm going to still mess with your track man. I think the only thing I might want you to do is to take out the sub bass you have in that so I can get some nastyness going in there.

O dude I think all that global warming stuff is mostly just to scare people man so they get all frightened and be good little slaves. I mean yes I don't doubt the earth is warming or cooling or w/e but come on its been doing that since the sun has been around. I mean imagine how perfect all the conditions have to be in order for "man" to even appear on earth. Maybe its just out time to go. I mean I'm not saying fuck it and don't try to fix it I'm just saying look at it from a different perspective, you know?

Hey abort.... Yeah you will see all the doom and gloom on the news... coz that's what they want you to see!.. But hey, there is also LOT of 'positive' things going on!!

Turn up the vibe.. and crank out the 'GOOD' vibrations!

As well as focusing on and creating from a 'negative' perspective, you could, if you choose to, do the same from a 'positive' one..

yeah I think you right about how all the hype is on the global warming issue, its funny how the big gov. seems to like to play with it to there advantage.

I'm working up the session for a remix last night but my computer keeps locking up after freezing the 7th channel, if you think you can do the remix without needing the .als file I'll just take the low end out and send it that way.

Heavensdaw, yeah I know I was just kinda in a shitty mood yesterday!

everything should be there right? Its just a simple melodic interval with a few harmonic overlaps

B1 a1 B2 a2 g2 f2 d2 F2 d2 F2 d2 F2 f2 D2 or something, vary odd 14 notes! And the pluck synth just kinda plays with that! Good luck!
