Just a few things to ask as part of my first post:
1. Can anyone tell me of a way I can adjust the channel fader curves in Able10 7? Can this be done at a higher level between my bcr and Able10 using a third party midi manager of some sort?
2. Can anyone tell me how to switch reason combinator patches using control changes from clips?
Trying to put together a live set midi only to allow adsr control and I am running into a few unforseen problems. I knew it would be a challenge but I didn't expect things like fader curves and control changes to be my big problems.
Anyone running full midi. How are you stepping down? Do you zig zag? Anyone running outboard gear and using control changes?
Do you load as you go or is the set laid out before you walk on.
Thanks heaps for the help as I've exhausted the search function and found dead ends with everyone running audio and generally not testing the limitations of the software.
Dave.

You can change the crossfader curve, but not track faders. Third party midi can do anything. SC, Max, Bidule - the software world is your smörgåsbord.![]()
If Combinator accepts PCs then you can change it from Live. Bring in the Reason buffs.
Welcome to the forums, by the way!

hahahah
I'm glad everyone picked up on the able10. Who'll be the first to get it on their licence plate? hhahaha.
Yeah I think I will have to hit up a reason buff. I think I might be doing the blood from a stone thing though!
Any preferences for ease of use when it comes to editing the fader curves? Max scares me a little but I guess I'll need to get my hands dirty sooner or later.
Thanks for the replies. I've been categorically ignored on every other forum I have posted on.
