01x midi and bomes with live, help plz

hi

using a yamaha 01x and have to use the mackie control surface preset in live. its ok but i wanna use it the way i wanna use it so trying to add extra midi support with bomes MT. only trouble is some of the knobs using already have a function in live. i wanna use them to scroll up/down and select. created this with bomes no problem but its also doing the pan for that track. is there some way i can block that fuction or edit the mackie template to take out the pan?
