OT: Juno Download

Post by creature » Wed Jul 09, 2008 1:37 pm

At the recommendation of someone else I ahve registered iterest with Juno to stock releases from my label.

To be honest I hadn't heard of them before. Are they a well known store? Do many of you use them?

Cheers for any info, and I'm probably asking a really obvious question. lol

Juno Download isn't as popular as let's say Beatport. :-) But it's a "little sister" of Juno, one of the most popular vinyl shops all over the world. Therefore Juno customers may prefer Juno Download to other download stores. So do I. :-)

Hope it helps!

its useful, a nice easy to manage interface for adding new releases, setting your prices and viewing your sales figures online. Juno was one of the best places to get vinyl a few years back and has a good customer base which may use the site as pavelnezamaev mentioned

to be honest mate, I wouldnt know as I dont buy a lot of vinyl these days.
I guess it depends on the tunes you are after
I always found 3beat records amazing when I was buying a lot of progressive house - they had great promos. Massive records was also good but both were more expensive than Juno

The best thing I liked about juno was the old site which was in simple text format, perfect for buying tunes while pretending to be working in the office!

Thanks for the replies. I have an agreement document from juno to read and sign, so I will give them a go. I will get the download versions done first and then see if i can get them to stock the cd's.

They also stock sample libraries too, so might see if I can get them to stock electronic critters also.

Cheers all :-)
