Do you know Tools to Test and correct Midi/Audio Latency?

..even using the last drivers and calibrating the driver compensation in ableton, I have still problems with movements in the groove of what I am recording... you know that even 1 ms is enough to broke your groove..

Do any of you known tools to test the latency in audio and midi?

* midi/audio latency (recording an external synth => input midi latency => audio latency)
* audio latency (recording instruments or voices)
* midi latency (recording a vsti from a controller)

the latency tutorial lesson in ableton is not enough to resolve these issues..
