2 MPD-16's, is this possible?

Is it possible to assign two mpd-16 drumpads to Live (4) and use them both at the same time controlling the same softsynth/sampler, in order to have 32 pads in stead of 16?

I had one and was using it turned 90 degrees so the value slider was the crossfader control. Then you also have immediate access to 32 pads using the a/b button. You can extend this to more pads by switching midi channels as well (the diagram on the bottom of the unit shows the key to hold when pressing the pad # for the midi channel you want to switch to).

It worked well.
