Vista x64 sucks use XP x32 gets 700% better performance

I used to have a mac book pro but wanted more power so i sold that and built a rack mount cpu so i can gig... Anyways used xp SP 3 did the sweet water tweaks and was getting so,so results -15 tracks or so 60% CPU so i switched to vista think x64 would be better - more RAM access to more code, man i was wrong, 5 instruments was givin me problem with audio at 44.1 and so were waves plugs at high sample cache and this cpu is a intel quad 6700 2.66 4gm Ram Black viper tweak and ready for audio with up to date driver for my RME fireface 800. So i switch back last night to xp but did black viper tweaks to the services and bam doing 25 synths at the same time @ 35% cpu @88.1 with waves all over the place..so do not switch to vista just yet...anyways how xp x64? have tried that yet?
