help-korg padkontrol->korg microkontrol-> ableton softsynths

i've got my padkontrol going into my microkorg going into ableton controlling my softsynths, the problem is that i can control the softsynths from the microkorg but i cannot do so from the padkontrol, even though i can control the microkorgs internal sounds with the padkontrol for some reason the midi from the padkontrol is not making it into Live,

does anybody have any ideas about this?

If you have the padkontrol going out to the MicroKorg input, it is only going to control the MicroKorg unless you fiddle with the internal routing of the MicroKorg - which I have not done so I don't even know if it is possible. If all else fails, hook it up via USB.

I will look at my documentation and see if it is possible.
