Scroll or scrub line not matching up when under high cpu

Once live is becoming latent, I should hear the audio as being latent, yes, thats not a problem, but seeing the scroll line hit a beat and not hearing that beat for a second is a big problem. The program should adjust the scroll line to be in sync with the sound I hear and see as it passes, otherwise editing becomes very difficult.
