yeah m8 everything was done in live 6, processed with waves. Ive started to learn logic at a m8s studio in london, so hopefully in a few months live will be more of a performance and recycle tool. something to get things going quickly,
then i can export / import audio to logic for processing / arranging

I used to export all my audio tracks to Cubase to mix, but I have discovered (even using L6 which does not have the supposedly superior mix engine of L7) that mixing in Cubase, Logic doesn't make the mix any better.
The only arguments for exporting audio to Logic for mixing are for Space Designer or Pitchfix and maybe a slightly better mixing view if you have dual monitors.
Or you could get melodyne and a convo reverb and do it in Live and your end product would be the same. Of course, if you are rewiring Live into Logic to use Ultrabeat (I am now preferring drum racks in L7 with drum machines) or EXS24 instruments then that is different.
Bottom line though is that Live is always considered a DJ tool or a tweak box and not 'serious' , so cannot compete audio wise with the more established DAWS when that is actually a MYTH (and one disproven time and again on this and other forums).
Have confidence and mix down in Live sometimes. Just pulling it out to Logic and doing nothing else won't make it sound any better.
