Not entirely Ableton related, but some of you may be able to help.
I noticed that the output from the headphone jack on a Macbook Pro seems to be exceedingly quiet, no where near adequate to go straight into a club mixer.
Has anyone else noticed this and possibly have a solution?
Macbook Pro 2.4 The one just before the new 2.6 model came out.

Hello dvbfilth,
Is the output turned up all the way in the SystemPreferences/audio?
best,
Christian

Hi Christian,
The output is turned up on every volume slider I can find, including the System Prefs one.

Hello,
If everything is fully turned up and you connect your headphones to your mac output, it should be relatively loud. If you connect it to a mixer, make sure to use the proper
input (e.g. an Aux input).
best,
Christian

I have a FA101 that I used to use externally, but with all the scary reports about FW Audio cards, I didnt want to take the risk.
