I still love the beauty.
I found it on someone's "personal" photo album, one of those crappy things that comes with your web host package. it wasn't even tagged as an ironic masterpiece. It was just evidence of them and their friends on a nice night out. loverly

look around the program directory, there's a file called 'splashscreen.tif' (on PCs at least.) open that in a graphical editor, check its size then make an image the same size or convert one of the above to a .tif and name it splashscreen.tif.radialson wrote:Is there a way to change the Live splash in OS X? choose 'show package contents'
open these folders (nested)
contents > App-resources > versions
The splash screen is called Livesplash.tif
Replace it with an image with the same name and same dimensions.
Mine's a frog (from a thread posted yonks ago, included dark side of the moon, etc)
